Difference between revision 3 and current revision

Summary: @Kurvivor: how about a good old {{{C-g}}}?

An alternative, especially after the fact, can sometimes be to use yank-pop, with the default keybinding M-y. Kill some pieces of text. Then yank with C-y. Then yank again, and this time also do M-y to bring back an older kill. Repeat as needed, each time typing M-y one extra time. Is there command that does the opposite? As in, keep next kill separate from previous on kill-ring?
I often want that as i am editing, when i want to delete line and pste part of it somewhere else

@MathiasDahl: good point. It is so natural for me (since I use it so often) that I didn’t even think about it.
