History of 2016-04-07 Hiding those annoying Async Shell Command buffers

2016-04-07
19:21 UTC Revision 1 . . . . Marcin BorkowskiI use async-shell-command (M-&) quite often. (I usually ran just shell-command, by default bound to M-!, and added an ampersand at the end, until I learned about M-&.) However, when I do it, one thing annoys me a lot: the *Async Shell Command* buffers. Most of the time I don’t really care about them, since I do not want to see any standard output from async commands (like evince, a pdf viewer, or libreoffice, an office suite). Of course, this is Emacs, so I should be able to configure that, right? Right.
